Who We Are

Our website address is: https://oembeautyequipment.com. OEM Beauty Equipment is a manufacturer of aesthetic and beauty equipment, and this policy explains how we handle information collected through our website.

Contact & Enquiry Form Data

When you submit a request through our Contact Us or RFQ (Request for Quotation) form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company name, target market, product requirements, and any files or specifications you choose to upload, such as CAD/CAM drawings or reference documents.

We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a manufacturing quotation, and follow up on your project. We do not sell this information to third parties. Enquiry data is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to support your project and our business relationship, after which it may be archived or deleted in line with standard recordkeeping practices.

If you would like more detail on how personal data is generally protected under international frameworks, the European Commission’s overview of data protection rules is a useful reference point, even for visitors outside the EU.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is purely for your convenience, so you don’t have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. These cookies last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to check whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login persists for two weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and simply records the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content From Other Websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content, such as videos, images, or articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited that other website directly.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content — including tracking your activity if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely, so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically rather than holding them in a moderation queue.

For registered users (if any), we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including anything you’ve provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, except where we’re required to retain it for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
